Van Winkle, a longtime resident of San Antonio, passed away, Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at 5:16 a.m. in the Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville at the age of 90 years, 11 months, and 19 days. Oneta was born Feb. 26, 1923, in Coy City, Texas, the daughter of Crocket Bynum and Minnie O. Brister Ferrell.  . . .
