1967-2014

Michelle Biela Hagen was reunited with her little brother on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014. She was born to Wilannette and Joseph David Biela Jr. on June 24, 1967, in Houston, Texas.

Michelle graduated from St. Gerard High School in San Antonio and immediately started working with her dad at Biela’s Glass & Aluminum. She made many friends over the years and was a caring person that would do anything she could to brighten one’s day. Michelle loved to spend time at the coast whether it was fishing with family and friends or sitting on the end of the pier drinking a beer.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph David Biela III.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Glen Hagen; two beautiful daughters, Brittany Brietzke and husband K.W. and Kayla Hagen; grandson Karl Wayne Brietzke III; parents JD and Wilannette Biela; sisters Lisa Laskowski and husband Michael and Susan Bocanegra and husband Rene; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 6 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. in the St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Antonio.

A funeral service was held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the church.

Interment followed in St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery in San Antonio.
