“We make travel easy and enjoyable,” said Rockport Tours co-owner Michael Kohleffel, about what makes his business different.

He and his wife, Lorene, specialize in escorted group travel, offering day trips, cruises, fly-away and train trips, and international travel.

“No matter what your experience level, we help you make sure all of your paperwork is correct, we plan great activities, and we send an escort on all of our trips,” Michael said. “The escort is there to resolve any issues you may have.”

He’s a native of Edna, and Lorene is from San Antonio. They have three children. The two love to travel and have lived in several states and countries, Michael said. The business is based in Corpus Christi.

Rockport Tours currently is offering trips such as Washington, D.C., in Bloom in March, Seattle and the Skagit Valley in April, and an Alaskan cruise in May.
