Authorities with the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) and the sheriff’s offices of Henderson, Anderson, and Freestone counties are looking for information regarding three different thefts, including:

•Burglary of a camp house located on property near the Streetman community in Freestone County. More than $5,000 worth of items were stolen, including two saddles and other horse tack.

•A white, three-ton, flatbed International truck and a black flatbed trailer with a green fuel tank. The offenders cut the locks and entered property on C.R. 1400 near Malakoff in Henderson County.

•A 24-foot Neckover brand gooseneck cattle trailer, two black and white spotted cows, two black cows, and one red white-faced cow. The theft took place between Jan. 1-5. The perpetrators likely entered the property on F.M. 2330 near Montalba in Anderson County. Authorities said the cows had ear tags, but the tags may have been removed.

Persons with information regarding any of these thefts should contact TSCRA’s Operation Cow Thief hotline at 888-830-2333. A reward will be offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of those involved.
