ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Donald Ray Jonietz, 69, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, in San Antonio. He was born Oct. 30, 1944, in Temple, Texas, to Walter Joseph and Evelyn Fey Jonietz.

Donald was a longtime owner and operator of bowling pro shops in the San Antonio area for more than 35 years. He was highly respected in his profession for “drilling the holes in the ball, but not installing the talent.” He will forever be known as a loving husband, father, grandpa, coach, and friend. He will truly be missed, said his family.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Walter “Jack” Jonietz.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; his children, Adrian Ann Caloss and husband Scott, Dona Lea Casso and husband Julian, and Bradley Joseph Jonietz and wife Kerry; grandchildren Dustin Jonietz, Jacob Caloss, Madison Caloss, Elizabeth Jonietz, Emma Casso, Evelyn Jonietz, and Charles Jonietz; his mother, Evelyn Jonietz; his sister, Linda Nichols and husband Richard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary was held on Monday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Porter Loring Mortuary North in San Antonio.

A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig.

Interment followed in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery, in St. Hedwig.
