Masquerade Ball is March 1
Tickets and sponsorships are still available for the Children’s Alliance of South Texas’ first-ever Masquerade Ball, “Unmasking the Hurt,” to be held on Saturday, March 1, at 6 p.m. in the Floresville Event Center at 600 S.H. 97 W. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
The event will include a steak dinner, shrimp and crawfish appetizers, all catered by Trail Riders Steakhouse, a live band, and live and silent auctions. Masks will be available at the door for a $5 donation.
The newly founded Child Advocacy Center, Children’s Alliance of South Texas began interviewing sexually and physically abused children in October 2013, and to date has interviewed more than 43 children. The center serves abused children in Atascosa, Frio, Karnes, LaSalle, and Wilson counties.
Individual tickets are $50, or interested sponsors may purchase a table that seats eight for $400.
