Floresville Independent School District’s Reading Initiative, “Floresville Reads Millions,” continues its success. The objective is to instill a love of reading in our students so that they will become lifelong readers. We believe that academic achievement starts with reading, and it is our goal for students to collectively read 8 million minutes by the end of the school year. That equates to approximately 12 minutes of reading per student, per school day. . . .
