Fancy Feathers seventh annual Chicken Show will be held Saturday, March 15, from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Dripping Springs Ranch Park located at 1042 Dripping Springs Ranch Road in Dripping Springs.

The Fancy Feathers Chicken Show is a professionally judged poultry show set up and run by the Fancy Feathers 4-H Club members. There will be adult and youth classes as well as a backyard class for both bantam and standard-sized birds.

Attendees will be able to see more than 40 varieties of chickens originating from all parts of the world, including the classics, from Rhode Island Reds to the more exotics, such as Seramas. In addition to viewing the birds, attendees will be able to participate in a cluck-off, where the contestants perform their best imitation of a chicken, participate in a drawing and silent auction, view or enter an egg show, or have fun at the Kids Corner or the judging competition for adults.

Information and entry forms are available at www.fancyfeatherstx.org. Enter your birds or eggs or just come and join in the fun. Admission is free.
