Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol Cpl. Javier Reyes (left) and Trooper Anthony Flores speak with witnesses at the scene of a single-vehicle rollover wreck Feb. 27 on S.H. 97 east of F.M. 1922 near Sutherland Springs. Reyes said it is yet unknown why the driver -- 59-year-old Kirk P. Haskell of Somerset -- lost control of his Chevrolet Suburban 2500 sport-utility vehicle before it struck a tree. Haskell suffered minor injuries and was transported by the Wilson County Emergency Medical Services to the Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville.
