AUSTIN -- The reward for Raul Ambrosio Jimenez Jr., 46, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and this month’s featured fugitive, has increased to up to $20,000 for information leading to his capture if the tip comes in during the month of March. The Texas Syndicate gang member has a lengthy criminal past and is wanted for trafficking of a person under 18 -- prostitution, sexual assault of a child and probation violation. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

Jimenez’s last known address was San Antonio, and he has ties to the Bexar County area. His extensive criminal history includes prostitution, burglary, vehicle theft, counterfeiting, resisting officer and drug charges.

Jimenez is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 210 pounds. His tattoos include a female figure, a scroll and dragon on his upper right arm; and a male face and tower on his upper left arm. He also has a scar on his left eyebrow. For more information, view his wanted bulletin at: http://www.dps.texas.gov/Texas10MostWanted/fugitiveDetails.aspx?id=197.

One offender from the Texas 10 Most Wanted Program is featured each month in hopes the higher reward money from the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division will generate additional tips. The higher reward amount will only be paid if the tip comes in the same month the fugitive is featured. All calls, texts, emails and Facebook tip messages are anonymous.

Anyone with information can provide anonymous tips in four different ways:
•Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
•Text the letters DPS -- followed by your tip -- to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
•Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
•Submit a Facebook tip at http://www.facebook.com/texas10mostwanted by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).

The following link, http://bit.ly/VqydsJ, explains the steps on how to submit a tip regarding a Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitive or sex offender and/or how to receive a reward once the fugitive is captured.
