Regina Agnes Krawietz Labus Hedgcoth was born Sept. 7, 1930, to Ladislaus Lucian and Victoria Josephine Skrobarczyk Krawietz of Cestohowa, Texas. Regina passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, in Corpus Christi.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Hedgcoth Jr., who passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, and first husband, Arthur Labus; brothers Fryderyk Krawietz and wife Catherine Kotara Krawietz, Engelbert Krawietz and wives Eleanor Janysek Krawietz and Margaret Neslony Mika Krawietz, and infant brother Ladislaus Krawietz; a sister, Louise Krawietz; and brothers-in-law Vernon Foreman Sr. and Floyd Bieniek.

Regina is survived by her daughter, Lydia Labus Zunker and husband John of Seguin; her step-grandchildren, John D. Zunker and Todd; five great-grandchildren; sisters Lucy Krawietz Meuth and husband Bill of Dale and Harriet Krawietz Foreman Bieniek of Corpus Christi; sister-in-law Geraldine Barker Schier Flora Krawietz of La Vernia; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and great-great-nieces and -nephews.

Regina and husband John’s bodies were donated to science and a dual memorial service will be held Saturday, March 15, at 11 a.m. in the Al Amin Shrine Temple in Corpus Christi.
