Registration is ongoing for the 2014 Texas State Senior Games, which will be held in San Antonio from Thursday, March 27, through Sunday, April 6. This year marks the 25th year of the Senior Games of San Antonio, and will be a qualifying year for the 2015 National Senior Games in Minneapolis.

There will be a fun walk and opening ceremony March 27 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the O.P. Schnabel Park/Graff Pavilion located at 9606 Bandera Road. The event will include a welcome ceremony, stretching exercises, fun walk (choose from a 1- or 2-mile option), snacks, sponsor booths, door prizes, music, dancing, and T-shirts guaranteed to the first 300 to register. The cost is just $5.
