Floresville North Elementary School inducted 118 members into the “Never Been Absent” (NBA) Club for the first semester of the 2013-14 school year. In order to be eligible for the NBA club, students were required to be at school every day with no tardies or early dismissals for the entire first semester.

Students that met those requirements were honored at the Floresville Tiger boys varsity basketball game on Feb. 11, where they were recognized at halftime and awarded a certificate signed by members of the team. The students then welcomed the Tigers back onto the court after halftime with high-fives and cheers.

The Tigers earned the district champion title after beating the Southside Cardinals in their final game of the regular season. Thanks to Coach Coy Tackitt, assistant coaches, and team members for honoring our students at this event.
