Help Wanted

Very part-time help needed to feed cats, chickens, and horses, Monday-Friday, 2 times per day, morning after dawn but before 9 a.m. for approx. 30-45 minutes and p.m. before dark (summer about 6-8 p.m., winter 4-5 p.m.) for approx. 60-90 minutes. Suitable for someone who lives near location, which is exactly halfway between New Berlin and La Vernia. No smoking and requires working in all weather conditions. 1980-2014

Randie Villarreal Sr. passed away in San Antonio on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at the age of 33 years, 9 months, and 14 days. He was born on May 3,1980, in San Antonio, Texas, to Frank and Rose Villarreal.

Randie was a resident of Floresville for 33 years.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cipriano and Florinda Villarreal.

Randie is survived by his parents, Frank and Rose Villarreal; grandparents Juan and Patsy Silva; children Randie N. Villarreal Jr. and Marcus A. Villarreal; brother Frank T. Villarreal and wife Esmeralda; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of friends.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 1, in the Franklin Funeral Home, officiated by Deacon Ralph Guerra.
