Second-grade teachers at La Vernia Primary School, led by Kerri Johnson, organized and held their annual wax museum event on Feb. 25 in the school gymnasium.

A total of 60 second-grade students participated in the voluntary event, where their assignment was to choose a person to research and create a 30-second speech about the person’s life. Students looked awesome in their costumes, including those of historic figures from Cleopatra to modern-day pop stars. Family members enjoyed this event a great deal!
