Hours are 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Mon.-Fri., must participate in an on-call rotation from 5 p.m.-8 a.m., weekdays and 24 hours on weekends and holidays. Diesel Mechanics needed at Coastal Plains Trucking to work in the following locations: Stockdale, TX; Charlotte, TX; and Jal, NM (housing provided at this location only). Joe K. and Trisha Wiatrek of Kosciusko, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Samantha Jo, to Derrick Michael Felux, the son of Harry and Sharon Felux of Floresville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Steve and Helen Pruske, formerly of Kosciusko, and the late Thomas and Elizabeth Wiatrek, formerly of Pawelekville.

Samantha is a 2008 graduate of Poth High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Texas State University, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University-San Antonio.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Julie Bell Yosko of Floresville and the late Elias Yosko, and Fabian and Dorothy Felux of Elmendorf.

Derrick is a 2006 graduate of Floresville High School. He received both a criminal justice and liberal studies associate degree from Palo Alto College. He is currently employed at United Healthcare in San Antonio as a subject matter expert.

Derrick and Samantha will be married in the spring of 2014, in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Kosciusko, Texas.
