The NASCAR Nationwide Series returns to the Eastern US this weekend for Saturday’s Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 at Bristol (Ten.) Motor Speedway. It’s the fourth race off the 33 that make up the 2014 Nationwide season. To this point, Regan Smith has been the only Nationwide championship-eligible driver to make his way to victory lane, doing so in the season opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway on Feb. 22. The two races since have been dominated by Sprint Cup Series interlopers, with Kyle Busch winning the second race of the season at Phoenix International Speedway and Brad Keselowski winning a week ago at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Keselowski is sitting out this weekend’s Nationwide Series race at Bristol, has Ryan Blaney takes his first turn of the season behind the wheel of Team Penske’s No. 22 Ford. Series regulars will still have to content with Busch, though, as well as other Sprint Cup drivers like Kevin Harvick in JR Motorsports No. 5 Chevrolet and Matt Kenseth in Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 20.

There are 42 drivers on the entry list for Bristol. With a full race field consisting of 40 cars, unless there’s a withdraw before Saturday morning’s qualifying session, two cars/and drivers will be sent home without getting to start the race on Saturday afternoon.

Qualifying is scheduled for approximately 10 p.m. ET Saturday, with the race scheduled to take the green flag shortly after 2 p.m. ET the same day.
