Rosa Lee Koltermann Baumann, a longtime resident of Floresville, Texas, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014, at 1:25 a.m. in the Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville, at the age of 92 years, 10 months, and 2 days. Rosa Lee was born May 11, 1921, in San Antonio, the daughter of Richard and Elsie Burkhardt Koltermann.

Rosa Lee married Herbert Emil Baumann on March 22, 1943, in San Antonio. Herbert, Rosa Lee’s beloved husband of 51 years, preceded her in death on April 1, 1994. Rosa Lee was a homemaker and a member of First Lutheran Church in Floresville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Emil Baumann; her parents; and her brothers, Richard Koltermann, Jaby Koltermann, Ellis Koltermann, and Calvin Koltermann.

Rosa Lee is survived by her loving daughters, Mary Eaton and husband Robert of Floresville and Jeanne Moak of La Vernia; her granddaughters, Brandy Gresham of Floresville, Katy Eaton of Floresville, Ashley Rose of Tomball, Debra Dever of La Vernia, Kelly Roseland of La Vernia, and Sheri Breaux of League City; her grandsons, Austin Eaton of Richmond and Frank E. Moak III of La Vernia; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16, from 6-8 p.m. in the Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville.

A funeral service was held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral chapel, officiated by Pastor John Conrad.

Interment followed in the Floresville City Cemetery in Floresville.

Serving as pallbearers were Terry Koltermann, Paul Koltermann, Steven Baumann, Kevin Pundt, Charles Ogburn, and John Pantuso.
