Pipeline Safety Workshop set for April 2 in Cotulla
The Eagle Ford Center for Research, Education, and Outreach will hold a Public Awareness of Pipeline Safety Workshop on Wednesday, April 2, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the City of Cotulla Convention Center, located at 290 North Interstate Highway in Cotulla.
This workshop will provide an opportunity for elected officials, local governments, emergency responders, school personnel, and land owners to increase their knowledge of pipeline safety and public awareness programs.
The Pipeline Safety session will focus on pipeline construction, design and inspections, federal pipeline safety regulations, and gathering lines-managing risk. The Public Awareness session will focus on community planning and first responder preparedness, emergency response solutions, and a National Pipeline Mapping System demonstration.
