Castroville to host bike ride, April 5

The city of Castroville cordially invites all to the third annual Tour de Castroville being held Saturday, April 5. Walk and run (5K/10K) through the Castroville Historic Tour, or bicycle (30/60 miles) through Castroville and into the neighboring towns of La Coste and Rio Medina. The bike ride starts at 8 a.m., and the walk/run begins at 9 a.m.

Proceeds benefit the City of Castroville parks. Registration includes an event T-shirt, breakfast or lunch, and rest stop support. Registration is available online at Active.com. The registration fee is $35 for bicyclists, $15 for walkers and runners, and wounded veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom/Enduring Freedom are free.
