Compared to last week: Hay prices were unchanged as hay movement remains quiet except for some hay moving due to the cold snaps and contracted hay. Trade activity and demand were light to moderate. The Panhandle and west Texas remain in a drought with little chance of moisture in sight. Supplemental feeding continues to get livestock through the cold breaks in the temperature. Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except where noted.

North, Central, & East Texas

Alfalfa: Large Squares: Delivered: Premium to Supreme $285.

Coastal Bermuda: Small Squares: FOB: Good to Premium $200-$230, $6-$7 per bale.

Large Rounds: FOB: Good to Premium $60-$80, $120-$160 per ton, Good $50 per roll, $100 per ton.
