Tractor City stores in Floresville, Seguin, Pleasanton, and Kenedy are hosting their John Deere 2014 Drive Green Challenge events at their dealerships Saturday, March 29, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The free events give area residents a chance to check out the latest John Deere utility tractors, lawn and garden tractors, loaders, and other equipment, as well as take advantage of special savings and the chance to win a tractor package or a $500 John Deere voucher.

Area John Deere Tractor City dealerships and event locations are:

•688 S.H. 97 east of Floresville

•207 N. Sunset Strip in Kenedy

•3030 North Austin St. in Seguin

•1822 Bensdale Road (F.M. 476) in Pleasanton.

These popular events give local property owners, farmers and ranchers, commercial lawn and landscape operators, and interested consumers a chance to test-drive John Deere utility tractors, including John Deere 1 Series, 3E Series, and 5D/5E Series tractors. Guests will have the opportunity to compare features of equipment and ask questions about the different models of tractors, attachments, and implements.

Attendees who register at the event will receive a $500 discount coupon that can be used toward the purchase of select John Deere equipment and a chance to win a John Deere 3032E Compact Utility Tractor with D160 Loader and Frontier RC2060 Rotary Cutter. There will also be a $200 discount coupon that can be used for select John Deere attachments and a chance to win an 825i Gator in Texas. They’ll also qualify to win one of eight $500 John Deere vouchers to be given away from March through October during the promotion.

Representatives from Tractor City will be on hand to answer questions about the equipment.
