1954-2014

Benito “Benny” Aguirre of Stockdale passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, at the age of 59. He was born in Floresville, Texas, on Oct. 11, 1954, to Mike and Mary (Sanchez) Aguirre.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and loving friend Ginger Nichols.

Benny is survived by his sisters, Carmen Martinez and husband William of Pandora and Josephine Palacio and husband Henry of Texas City; brothers Mike Aguirre and Tony Aguirre, both of Pandora; nieces Sharon Martinez, Connie Mercado, Marie Martinez, Cindy Peña, and Susie Martinez; nephew Billy Martinez Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and other family and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 24, from 1-2 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.

A funeral service was held on Monday at 2 p.m. in the funeral chapel, officiated by Pastor Sil Ornelas.

Interment followed in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Stockdale.
