FLORESVILLE -- Officials here have taken the first step toward fixing the 80,000-gallon Plaza above-ground water storage tank on U.S. 181 behind Ancira Ford. The Floresville City Council voted at its March 19 special meeting to approve a professional services agreement with M&S Engineering, which will devise a plan that includes building an adjacent tower that will be utilized while the current one is repaired. . . .

Read it again, folks. It says, " ... enter into a professional agreement with an employment agency to hire an interim comptroller, at a budget not to exceed $25,000." The keyword is "interim," meaning... More ›

Nope, $25,000 a year is roughly $13 an hour BEFORE taxes. Really not much when compared to other jobs around the area.
