BUDA -- Cabela’s Incorporated, the World’s Foremost Outfitter of hunting, fishing, and outdoor gear, will host Ladies’ Day Out Saturday, April 5.

The event is designed to recognize the growing population of women enjoying the outdoors across Texas. It will feature hands-on demonstrations, seminars, live archery practice, giveaways, samples, and more -- and the first 100 women through the doors will receive a special gift.

With more than 5 million women participating in shooting sports, this growing demographic will enjoy classes ranging from a Ladies’ Handgun Clinic to Beginning Archery for Ladies. For those looking to expand their knowledge in other areas, seminars will span from Hiking Tips and Trails and Fly Fishing 101 for Female Anglers to Ladies Don’t Be a Victim -- a class intended to introduce ladies to the importance of self-defense. All classes are free and will be taught by local experts.
