Deputies from the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an April 6 robbery at a home on S.H. 123 on the south side of Stockdale.

Chief Deputy Johnie Deagen said the female victim encountered the suspect -- described as a black male standing 6 feet tall -- who assaulted her.

The suspect fled north on S.H. 123 in a maroon-colored minivan. He had stolen cash and other items from the home.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office at 830-393-2535.

Anonymous tips, for which cash rewards are given if they lead to an arrest or to the recovery of stolen property, can be furnished to Crime Stoppers of Wilson County at 830-393-INFO (4636) or http://bit.ly/NDrIut.
