If you enjoy listening and dancing to live classic country music, gathering with friends, or just having a memorable evening, then make plans to attend the Floresville Opry on Thursday, May 1, from 6-9:30 p.m. in the Floresville Event Center at 600 S.H. 97 W. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Attendees can dance to the sounds of classic country dance music by house band “Playin’ to Win” as well as featured singers Bobby Flores, Bob Appel, Julia Weaver, and Krista Morgan. Other singing talent includes Diane Farley, Kenny Penny, Frutoso Balderas, Conrad Gonzales, and Jim Helmke. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening.

Save room for a delicious chicken dinner catered by Floresville’s own Outlaw Catering for $7 per plate. Desserts will be sold for $2 each and concessions will be available.

General admission tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at the Wilson County News or the Sam Fore Jr. Wilson County Public Library. Reserved tables that seat 10 are also available for $120. All proceeds benefit the community through the Wilson County Historical Society.
