ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. YORKTOWN -- The Falls City High School girls and boys track and field teams competed at the District 30-1A meet April 2.

The girls had 13 competitors with the majority advancing to the area meet. The Beaverettes were able to take the district title with 158 points, just a single point ahead of Three Rivers in second place with 157 points. The top four finishers in each event advance to the area meet scheduled to be held Wednesday, April 9, in Kenedy. Area qualifiers are Haleigh Blocker, Kaelan Cheatham, Alyssa Dziuk, Madison Dziuk, Taylor Dziuk, Hanna Foster, Kelsey Labus, Hannah Lyssy, Jordan Lyssy, Sara Moore, and Rebekah Pawelek. Individual results are as follows:

100-meter dash:

Hannah Lyssy-3rd, 13.61.

200-meter dash:

Sydney Elkins-5th, 29.79; Jordan Lyssy-6th, 29.80.

400-meter dash:

Jordan Lyssy-3rd, 1:05.92.

800-meter run:

Alyssa Dziuk-2nd, 2:35.68; Taylor Dziuk-3rd, 2:41.12; Sara Moore-4th, 2:48.12.

3,200-meter run:

Rebekah Pawelek-5th.

100-meter Hurdles:

Hanna Foster-3rd, 17.24.

300-meter hurdles:

Hanna Foster-3rd, 54.18.

4x100-meter relay:
