Seven students in Tracie Scheffler’s third-grade math classes at Poth Elementary School have been recognized as “multiplication masters” this year.

To be a “multiplication master,” students were required to make an A on every multiplication test, written and verbal, for facts 1 x 1 through 12 x 12.

This in itself is quite an accomplishment; however, the students had to do it quickly because their tests were timed: 36 problems in 90 seconds.
