Stanley Dworaczyk of Kosciusko, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at the age of 94. He was born in Kosciusko on Nov. 15, 1919, to Kasper and Frances (Dryzmala) Dworaczyk.

Stanley was the owner of Dworaczyk’s Meat Market and Bar in Kosciusko. Stanley had never married and he was like a father to his siblings, nieces, and nephews. He spent his life on the family’s home place in Kosciusko, where he lived with his sister Pauline.

Stanley was preceded in death by his father in 1937; his mother in 1963; his sisters, Bernice Szalwinski and husband Pete, Betty Kazdoy and husband Benard, Clara Danysch and husband Ben, and Sefrina Heckford and husband R.L.; and brother Hagan Dworaczyk and wife Pelagia.

He is survived by his sisters, Pauline Dworaczyk, Eleanor “Nora” Gawlik and husband Emil, and Louise Moczygemba Mingo; brother Everett Dworaczyk; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Thursday, April 10, at 5 p.m. with a rosary vigil at 6:30 p.m. in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Kosciusko.

A funeral Mass was held on Friday at 10:30 a.m.

Interment followed in St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery in Kosciusko, with the Rev. Stanislaw Oleksy, SDS, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Stanley’s name to St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 8161 F.M. 541 E., Stockdale, TX 78160.
