The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Marshall of Waco, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Novak of Floresville, and Dr. and Mrs. Gene Haverlah of Del Rio.

Megan is a 2010 graduate of Poth High School and graduated from Howard Payne University in 2013 with a degree in communications.
