The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Marshall of Waco, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Novak of Floresville, and Dr. and Mrs. Gene Haverlah of Del Rio.

Megan is a 2010 graduate of Poth High School and graduated from Howard Payne University in 2013 with a degree in communications.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jacobs of Freeport, Ill., and Floyd Anderson of Poplar Grove, Ill., and the late Lois Anderson.

Ryan is also a 2010 graduate of Poth High School. He is currently attending the U.S. Air Force Academy, pursuing a degree in astronautical engineering, and plans to graduate in 2014.
