Easter eggs, bunnies, and baskets greeted Three Oaks EEA members for its regular monthly meeting on April 2.

Chairman Margie Arnold called the meeting to order with the Pledge of Allegiance and the EEA Prayer. Evelyn Raabe, secretary-treasurer, read the minutes of the March meeting.

Guest speaker, physical therapist Dawn Dylla, gave a program on strength and balance designed to help give strength in arms and legs that benefits stronger muscles as a person ages. Dawn also provided pamphlets on a variety of exercise ideas.

Janice Green, a member of the club, gave a demonstration on making greeting cards. She also provided members with supplies to create Easter cards.

Several EEA club members attended the District 10 Spring TEEA Conference held in San Antonio on March 21, where certificates were awarded to Edna Meyer, a 48-year member, Evelyn Raabe, 41 years, Janice Ortmann, a 26-year member, and Margie Arnold, a 52-year member.

Three Oaks EEA Extension Education Club Family Member Scholarships were awarded to Sydney Delgado, Audrey Raabe, and Morgan Zillmann. Nora Mae Gawlik Memorial Scholarships for senior Three Oaks 4-H Club members were awarded to Brandon Brysch and Audrey Raabe.

After a busy, fun meeting, refreshments were served by hostesses Evelyn Raabe and Theresa Raabe.

New members are always welcome.

Theresa Raabe is a member of the Three Oaks Extension Education Association.
