Enjoy the 25th annual Burton Cotton Gin Festival Friday, April 25, from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, April 26, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Texas Cotton Gin Museum at 307 North Main St. in Burton in Brenham.

On Friday, enjoy an all-you-can-eat shrimp boil (limited to 300 participants). Saturday’s activities will include a parade, antique tractor pull, ginning of a bale of cotton, a kiddie tractor pull, barnyard, petting zoo, festival foods, a variety of contests, musical entertainment, and more.
