Enjoy local Easter egg hunts

Take the kids and their baskets and enjoy listening to the excitement in their voices as numerous local churches offer Easter egg hunts on Easter Sunday, April 20. Events are on Easter if not otherwise noted.

Floresville

The fourth annual Community Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday at Pecan Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All ages are welcome to enjoy food, drinks, crafts, music, and prizes. Participants will be separated by age group.

The First Lutheran Church, 830-393-2747, will have an Easter egg hunt at 9 a.m.

Join the Knights of Columbus Council No. 6641 for its annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Pecan Park in Floresville.

Children ages 0-12 will be divided into three age groups.

The Oak Hills Community Church, 830-216-2273, will offer a community-wide Easter egg hunt at Pecan Park in Floresville from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The Floresville United Methodist Church will have an Easter egg hunt and a piñata at 9 a.m.

Jourdanton

The Cowboy Fellowship, 830-769-3733, between Pleasanton and Jourdanton, will have an Easter egg hunt on Good Friday, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Jourdanton City Park, free for children ages 1-10.

La Vernia

The Cowboy Fellowship of Wilson County, 830-305-5453, invites all to its Easter egg hunt after its 8:30 a.m. service.

The First Baptist Church of La Vernia, 830-253-1239, will hold an egg hunt after its 10:45 a.m. service.

St. Ann Catholic Church, 830-779-3131, invites all children up to fifth grade to its Easter egg hunt immediately following its 9:30 a.m. Mass.

San Antonio

The Resurrection United Methodist Church, 210-649-2636, will provide a children’s Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m.

Seguin

Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek will offer an Easter egg hunt on Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by a potluck sandwich lunch. Attendees are asked to take sandwiches, chips, or cookies for the meal.
