From the Atascosa County Crime Stoppers:

The gypsy pavers (travelers) are back in the Atascosa area working. If you are approached by persons wanting to pave your driveway, use caution. These folks will try to hard sell you and then do a shabby job. After the so called job is (in) complete, they will often return and demand additional funds saying they used more material than anticipated. The pavers will often threaten leagal action if not payed their inflated price. If you have issues with the pavers, contact law enforcement in your jurisdiction.

Darn Gypsy's... While one is in the house trying to hard-sell you on something (i.e. keeping you at bay) the others will rob you blind!!! ...as bad as a pack of wild dogs! >8(

You are right, Prairie! ... sad to say, no matter how many warnings, people still fall for these fly-by-night operators.

If you want a paving contractor, check the local newspaper first. Look under Contractors or Construction for those who can do the job. Ask for references.
