Alvin I. Pawlik, born Nov. 14, 1931, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 14, 2014, at the age of 82. Alvin was born to Ignatz and Albina Pawlik in Wilson County, Texas, and lived most of his life in San Antonio.

He worked for Friedrich Air Conditioning for 44 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Cliffton J. Pawlik.

Alvin is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elsie Pawlik; daughter Diana Felux and husband Greg; son Kevin W. Pawlik; sister Mary Ann Olinick and husband Leonard; brother Rudy J. Pawlik; grandchildren Wendy L. Pawlik and Tyler W. Felux; great-grandson Brody J. Pawlik; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held Thursday, April 17, at 6 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. in the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South in San Antonio.

A funeral service was held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral chapel.

Interment followed in the Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio.
