Salvador N. Treviño Sr., a lifelong resident of Floresville, Texas, entered eternal rest Monday, April 14, 2014, at 9:33 p.m. in the Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville, at the age of 89 years, 8 months, and 7 days. Salvador was born Aug. 7, 1924, in Denhawken, Wilson County, Texas, the son of Felix and Dominga Narvaez Treviño. He attended school in Lodi and was a welder for many years. Salvador married Alice Ximenez on March 7, 1945, in Wilson County. Alice, Salvador’s beloved wife of more than 62 years, preceded him in death on July 25, 2007. Salvador proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville. . . .
