I am Laurie Sekula and I am devoted to the success of our community and Poth ISD. I have lived in Poth for more than 40 years, attended Poth schools, and graduated from Poth ISD.

I am married to Mark Sekula and have four children -- two graduated from Poth and attending college and two currently attending Poth ISD.

I have been a dedicated teacher for 22 years -- 20 years in Poth ISD. Ensuring the success of our youth is my passion. My objective is to ensure a high quality education for all students. With my knowledge about education, the district, policies, guidelines, and needs, I feel I would represent the community well as a school board member.

I have currently been serving Poth ISD as a school board member for the past eight months as an appointed member. I am a committed and respected community member -- involved in my church, Relay for Life, Ride to Remember, Girl Scouts, Youth League, and more. Most importantly, I care about kids and the education they receive at Poth ISD.

Vote Laurie Sekula for success at Poth ISD.
