Thank you to all my supporters for past and future elections. I completed my first term as councilwoman in November 2013. Due to family illness, I was unable to again run for office until now.

This May 10 special election will give me the opportunity to continue using my 30 years of management and leadership experience to assist my hometown. My bachelor’s (Art/English) and master’s (Secondary/Adult Education) degrees enable me to better serve my fellow citizens’ needs.

First, my goal is to represent the citizens’ needs in the five basic areas: sewer, water, streets, police, and garbage. We need adequate and safe drinking water, a sewer system that can handle all needs and not endanger citizens’ health, and serviceable and safe streets. We need to fully support our police in providing peace, safety, and security. Secondly, I will monitor our finances/budget to assure that our city stays solvent. Thirdly, I will be proactive with FEDC, particularly on pursuing and supporting business ventures, ensuring affordable housing, and effectively dealing with the ongoing oil boom.

I humbly ask for your vote and support.
