FLORESVILLE -- Floresville’s own Cheer Dynasty Athletics (CDA), led by Head Coach Addam Schraub, continued its reign of championships during the 2013-14 Texas competitive cheer season.

Since 2010, CDA has been molding inspiring young competitive cheerleaders into champions, and the 2013-14 season was no exception.

To kick off this season in the Level 2 division, CDA won the Cheer Power Halloween Championship at the Joe & Harry Freeman Coliseum. CDA’s Junior Level 1 team had the biggest impact on the field, taking the top prize in their division at the Cheer Power Southern Nationals in the Alamodome. Then, during the United Cheer South Texas Open Championship at St. Mary’s University, the Junior Level 1 team took home not only the title of Champion, but also Grand Champion, as the team with the most divisional points.

Most recently, the Level 1 and Level 2 teams returned to St. Mary’s University to claim divisional championship jackets during the Redline Grand National competition.

CDA welcomes all sports fans to come witness what competitive cheer is all about, as they wrap up the 2013-14 cheer season on Sunday, April 27, at the Cheer Power Fiesta Texas Championship at Fiesta Texas San Antonio.

Cheer Dynasty Athletics is based in Studio C at 246 Paloma Drive in Floresville, and welcomes all athletes who think they have what it takes to carry on the championship tradition. Team placement tryouts will be held on Sunday, May 25.
