“The loveliest masterpiece from the heart of God is the heart of a mother.” St.Theresa of the Little Flower.

Tillie T. Dziuk, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, 97, peacefully entered into heaven on Saturday, April 19, 2014. She was born on June 8, 1916, in Panna Maria, Texas, to Domin and Emelia (Yosko) Pieprzyca.

Tillie married Henry A. Dziuk in Panna Maria on Aug. 31, 1937. Together they established and owned Dziuk’s Service Center in Karnes City. She was a loving wife and homemaker. A devoted Catholic, Tillie was a member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, and the St. Cornelius Catholic Church Altar Society.

Tillie was cared for with great love and compassion by the Seraphic Sisters and staff at John Paul II Nursing Home in Kenedy for the last years of her life. She will be greatly missed by all, said her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; five sisters, Nora Pieprzyca, Rosie Dworaczyk, Lorraine “Bootsie” Jendrusch, Sally Malik, and Irene Dworaczyk; and one brother, Ben Pieprzyca.

Tillie is survived by one son, Robert Dziuk and wife Judy of Rockport; three daughters, Alene Kyrish and husband Marvin of Colleyville, Carolyn Smolik and husband John of Dallas, and Jeanette Gregg and husband Ted of St. Germain, Wisc.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-stepgrandchildren; one dear sister, Alice P. Jendrusch of Falls City; brother-in-law Gene Dworaczyk of Hobson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 25, from 5-7 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. in the Rhodes Funeral Chapel in Karnes City.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Panna Maria, officiated by the Rev. Wieslaw Iwaniec.

Interment followed in the Panna Maria Cemetery in Panna Maria.

Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons, Brian Dziuk, Mike Kyrish, and Chuck Kyrish; great-grandsons Matthew Wetmore and Riley King; and nephews Anthony Kruciak, Ronnie Jendrusch, and Tim Pieprzyca.

Kevin Kyrish, grandson, joined the Panna Maria choir as a soloist and organist.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Panna Maria, TX or St. Cornelius Catholic Church, Karnes City, TX.
