Bron L. Broll, 87, of Cestohowa, Texas, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, in his residence. He was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Cestohowa to Elizabeth Moczygemba and Henry Broll Sr.

Bron and his wife, Lillian Laskowski Broll, were married in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Kosciusko on Oct. 18, 1955. Bron was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cestohowa and a member of the Rosary Circle. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a lifelong farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Theresa Kowalik and Agnes Skloss; and brother Henry Broll Jr.

Bron is survived by his wife, Lillian Broll of Cestohowa; son Harvey Broll (Clara Duelm) of Cestohowa; daughters Lynette Moczygemba and husband Mark of San Antonio and Denise Burg and husband Michael of La Vernia; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Irene Ibrom of Yorktown.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23, at 5 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. in the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel in Karnes City.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cestohowa.

Interment followed in the Cestohowa Cemetery in Cestohowa.

Serving as pallbearers were Christopher Burg, Jeffrey Burg, Gregory Burg, Jason Moczygemba, Zachary Duelm, Norbert Skloss, and Ernie Broll.
