Eagle Wrecker Service is looking for a tow truck driver, must have valid Texas driver license, valid tow operator permit (will train), on call 24/7, must pass drug test. Apply in person at 703-1/2 4th St., Floresville.
ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. May 27, 2014 - Primary Runoff Election Date

Voters can submit questions for political candidates in the 218th and 81st judicial districts, for programming to be aired on 92.1 FM in Kenedy and 1280 AM in Pearsall.

Seven questions will be selected from the submissions and presented to both Carrie Moy and Sylvia Rodriguez, who will select five to answer.

Email questions to KTNRFM@yahoo.com or KCAF1280am@yahoo.com in Karnes City.

The stations will air the questions with answers three days before the election and up to 7 p.m. on election day, Tuesday, May 27.

Kenedy’s 92.1 FM offers coverage from Kenedy to Charlotte, while the Pearsall station covers a 90-mile radius surrounding Pearsall.

There is no charge for this public service program.
