1932-2014

Billie Ruth (Hediger) Hill, born March 4, 1932, to Henry “Papa” and Florence “Bami” Hediger, left us on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the age of 82.

Billie was one of the most loyal and dedicated fans to her Dallas Cowboys. Her shrine would have no one in doubt. More passionate than she was about the Cowboys was the unconditional love she gave to all.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, J.B. Hill; children Joel, Jay, Jimmy Don, and Ginger; her parents; and her siblings, Jr., Collis, Charlie, Demsey, Dubbie, Roland, Lorraine, and Virginia.

Billie is survived by her daughters, Bonnie and husband Doyle and Joyce and husband Charlie; sons Jarrell and wife Janice and Raymond and wife Connie; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of very special lifelong friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, from 5-8 p.m. in the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South in San Antonio.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio.
