1925-2014

W.H. Hibdon, a lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, in San Antonio at the age of 88 years, 4 months, and 15 days. He was born on Dec. 14, 1925, in Curry Pool, Texas, to Elmer and Susie Bingham Hibdon.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

W.H. was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Marroquin Hibdon of San Antonio; children Stephanie Hibdon of San Antonio, Brenda Lynn Hibdon of Argentina, and Steven Hibdon and wife Janie of San Antonio; grandchildren Michael Hibdon and Matthew Hibdon; and great-grandchildren Paige Hibdon and Jett Hibdon.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 6, at 11:30 a.m. in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
