1921-2014

Bertie Idell (Carson) Marshall, 92, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014. She was born on July 14, 1921, in Victoria to Duff and Emma (Mosely) Carson.

Bertie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Don Marcus Marshall; daughter-in-law Sandy Marshall; and granddaughter Stacey Marshall.

She is survived by her son, Don E. Marshall Sr.; daughter Jennifer Kopeck and husband Robert; grandchildren Donald E. Marshall Jr., Daryl Kopeck and wife Dawn, Damon Kopeck and wife Karen, and Deana Zunker and husband Keith; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many loving friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Cosper to officiate.

Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio.

Memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Baptist Church, 2214 S. W.W. White Road, San Antonio, TX 78222.
