The Floresville Junior FFA team of Payton Meuth, Konstant Jarzombek, Ryan Rakowitz, and Bethany Bayer has been active this spring competing at several judging events.

This team started its year judging in the Feb. 1 Floresville FFA Booster Club Judging Contest by finishing in second place. Individually, Ryan also placed as the high-point individual.

The next contest was the Feb. 23 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo contest. The team finished seventh, with Payton placing as the third-high-point individual.

The team traveled to Victoria March 2 for the Victoria County Livestock Show Judging Contest. The team placed first, with Payton as the second-high-point individual overall.

The last contest this team attended was the largest judging contest in the world, the Houston Livestock Show Judging Contest. Here the team finished in 17th place.

This group of kids has done an excellent job representing the Floresville FFA this year.

For more information about the FFA and judging teams, contact the Floresville High School Ag Department at 830-393-5370.
