Floresville North Elementary School inducted 197 members into the “MLB” Club for the third nine weeks of the 2013-14 school year. MLB stands for Most responsible students; Leading their school; Being present every day. In order to be eligible for the MLB Club, students were required to be at school every day with no tardies or early dismissals for the entire third nine weeks grading period.

Students that met the MLB Club requirements were honored at the Floresville Tiger boys varsity baseball game on April 25. Club members were awarded a certificate signed by members of the team and ran the bases at the end of the game. The Tigers clinched their spot in the playoffs after beating the Southside Cardinals in their final game of the regular season.

The students and staff of Floresville North Elementary would like to thank Coach Pfluger, Coach Smith, Coach Hilsberg, and the entire Tiger baseball team for honoring our students at this event.
