Turner Scott Motorsports made announcement on Monday that indirectly confirmed that Kyle Larson will not run the full 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule as the driver had originally planned. Larson will continue to drive the No. 42 Turner Scott Motorsports Chevrolet in Nationwide Series races that are companion events to the Sprint Cup Series, the series in which Larson competes full-time for Chip Ganassi Racing. But for stand-alone races, beginning with Sunday's Know Newton 250 at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Dylan Kwasniewski will be in the No. 42 Nationwide Series entry.

"I'm really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the No. 42 car this week in Iowa and for the remaining four stand-alone races on the Nationwide Series schedule," Kwasniewski said. "I'm confident in all the guys at Turner Scott Motorsports, so it'll be a great learning experience. I've learned a lot from Larson this year, and I hipe that I can make Turner Scott Motorsports, as well as Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates and Target's up & up brand, proud."

Kwasniewski, a Nationwide Series rookie, already drives for Turner Scott Motorsports full-time in the Nationwide Series, driving the No. 31 Chevrolet. He will continue to drive the No. 31 in companion races to the Sprint Cup Series, but for stand-alone races here on out, Kwasniewski will be moved over to the No. 42 car. For those races, Chase Pistone will drive the No. 31 in place of Kwasniewski. The changes are limited to drivers, crews will remain with their respective teams.

"Turner Scott Motorsports is dedicated to bringing new talent into the series in which we compete," Turner Scott Motorsports co-owner Harry Scot Jr. said. "Dylan Kwasniewski is a great example of this, and we're excited to have him in the No. 42 car while Kyle Larson fulfills his Sprint Cup Series obligations. With Dylan being a Chip Ganassi Racing development driver, it will be a great learning experience for him and an overall win-win situation for both organizations. Chase Pistone is yet another young driver that we're proud to have represent our organization. Chase had an impressive run in his Truck Series debut at Martinsville, and we're excited to see his performance in Iowa."

While the Nationwide Series travels to Iowa, the Sprint Cup Series will be at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend for the Sprint All-Star Race and related events. The Iowa race will mark Pistone's second-career Nationwide Series start.

"I'm really excited for this opportunity," Pistone said. "Turner Scott Motorsports has some of the best equipment out there, nd I'm looking forward to working with the No. 31 crew this weekend. I've competed a lot at Iowa Speedway before, and we had a good finish during my first run there. I think it will be great to work with a veteran NASCAR crew chief like Pat Tryson, and I'm anxious to get out there and learn."
