1938-2014

Ray N. Joseph, 75, of St. Hedwig, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014. He was born on Oct. 29, 1938, in Lafayette, La., to Annie (Berice) and Alfred Joseph Sr.

Ray was a loving husband, father, and family man. He will be dearly missed, said the family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and three brothers.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Clorita Joseph, formerly of Lafayette; daughters Diantha Riker and husband Sam and Stephanie Joseph; and many loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, from 5-8 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig, officiated by the Rev. Bill Zadora.

Interment will follow in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery in St. Hedwig.

Memorial contributions may be made by way of Masses or to a charity of one’s choice.
